i want to see a cure for Alzheimer's in my lifetime. Having seen what the disease can do I am determined to help find a cure. In the mean time I will continue to educate and help manage Alzheimer's patients as well as their loved ones to help make their lives more memorable and meaningful. I signed up to play football and wear pink (I hate the color pink) to fight Alzheimer's...what are you doing?About Kristen
At my day job I am Director of Operations. I attended Texas Tech University For Undergrad & Pepperdine University For Graduate School. You may not know it, but...
I hate the color pink.
I play in honor of my grandmother, Edith Elliott, who passed away after suffering from dementia. Grandma Edie lived to be 100 years old, but in the last few years she became more and more affected by the disease. While she couldn't always remember where she was, or who she was with, her happy go lucky attitude never wavered. She had a strong faith, loving family and always presented with a calm, elegant and cheerful manner. She was truly an amazing woman and I hope to honor her positive attitude toward life against all obstacles.
